Ah, graduation gifts… What to get? You don’t know what teenage boys like these days, other than iPods and girls, both of which are out of your price range for a graduation gift.

You could buy clothes, but the chances are slim that the graduating boy will like them.

You could buy a gift certificate, but where from? And a gift certificate basically says “I am only willing to spend $X.XX on your gift.”

Or you could take the graduate out to eat. But that means that you have to spend time trying to make small talk with the person and likely making them uncomfortable by feigning appreciation of the gift and interest in spending time eating out with grownups.

You could take them out to drink, which they would almost surely appreciate, but which is also illegal in most places and runs the risk of prosecution, vomiting, or worse. Not recommended.

So what could you buy that has a virtually 100% chance of being appreciated by a male high school graduate?
