On of my favorite times of the year is mid-September. As a hunter, this time of the year is when the blood starts to flow and I get excited about braving the elements to hunt and bag a 4-point buck deer. If I have to settle for a doe, I will, but I love hunting for my own food. I recently purchased a new spring assisted knife for just this reason.
My latest tool is a Buck Knives Tempest 295DP. I found the blade to be very firm, sharp, and effective in cutting a few fish I caught. The knife will be ideal for the hunting season as a quick to open blade, and knife reliability is mandatory out in the open. There isn’t any time to go back to the car for an extra knife if yours breaks.
The Tempest 295DP model has ASAP Technology which provides a safe, easy opening blade. I prefer to have a knife that I won’t carelessly open and hurt a hand. The knife can fit in your pocket and your hunting vest. I recommend the Buck brand and this specific model.
